Synopsis: In collaboration with Local Projects, for the museum Planet Word in D.C., Tru Films conducted audio interviews with over 50 celebrated authors, sharing their inspiration and engaging insights on their featured books. These edited recording are brought to life through illuminated animation as part of a permanent exhibition. Additionally, Tru produced a short film series, featuring selected storytellers, including actor Anna Deavere Smith, exploring their relationships to literacy. This is presented in an intimate installation where visitors sit across from the monitor, activating the story to begin.
