Her Israel is a documentary film shot in the tradition of cinéma vérité, following the lives and revealing the humanity of three women, a Jewish-Israeli, a Jewish-Russian and a Palestinian through their daily lives in the bustling microcosm of Tel Aviv/Yafo. The three women juxtaposed from one another demonstrate the multi-dimensional components involved in existing in this complex Middle-Eastern society and exposes radically different perspectives and lifestyles.  In a time where opinions about the future of Israelis and Palestinians are highly political, sometimes staunchly fundamentalist and polarized to the detriment of everyone, Her Israel shows the realities of three lives touched by such a reality but not mired in these ideals. This documentary highlights human lives affected and shaped by the political and religious issues, as much as it highlights age-old issues such as love, motherhood, ambition, prejudice, womanhood, heartbreak, triumph and history.  Her Israel gives a voice to each of these women, revealing authentic glimpses into their lives.
